Complex scientific expedition of the Humanitarian Park of PetrSU “Kalevala-2021”

On June 6, a comprehensive scientific expedition of the Humanitarian Innovation Park started.
A complex scientific expedition is carried out within the framework of the project “Ways of preserving human capital as an urgent problem in Karelia: an integrated approach”.

The expedition includes 12 scientists from PetrSU and 15 students of 4 specialties from the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences, the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Institute of Forest, Mining and Construction Sciences.

Among the scientists on the expedition are historians, linguists, economists, cultural scientists, philosophers, sociologists and tourism managers. The expedition of PetrSU is accompanied by the director of the Interdistrict Resource Center for the Kalevala District, Guseva Elena Yurievna, the head of the expedition team is Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies, director of the Humanitarian Innopark Irina Mikhailovna Suvorova.

The program of the scientific expedition includes numerous trips to the settlements of the Kalevala region for research, educational and vocational guidance.
