Condolence meeting held to mourn the demise of Ms Noorus Sabah Alam

ALIGARH  : A condolence meeting was held at the Department of Home Science to mourn the sad demise of Ms Noorus Sabah Alam, a faculty member in the department and a subject expert of Nutrition.

Prof. Akram A. Khan, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences prayed for a higher place for the deceased in Jannah and solace to her family and friends.

One of the senior most faculty members, Prof. Farzana Alim said that ms Alam was a knowledgeable teacher and a good human being.

Dr. Saba Khan, Chairperson, Department of Home Science expressed a deep sense of loss and conveyed heart-felt condolences to her family members.

She said that Ms Alam joined the department as a faculty in 1998 and taught Nutrition with great expertise. She was suffering from ailments since February 2024 and finally left for her heavenly abode on the evening of September 1, 2024.

The condolence meeting was attended by a number of faculty members, staff and students.
