Conduct and Behavior of Children should be Similar: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan participated in Bal Sabha of school students in remote village Nayapura of Sehore district under the ‘Mil Banche Madhya Pradesh’ programme. Shri Chouhan spent more than an hour with the students of Nayapura and students came from various schools of nearby villages. Around 3 hundred 25 students took part in the Bal Sabha. At the outset, Shri Chouhan was presented with the Tulsi plant by the students. He told the officers accompanying him to plant tulsi in CM House campus. Interacting with the students, Shri Chouhan said that environment conservation is must keeping in view the present circumstances. Every child must plant one sapling every year at his/her home and in surrounding area and protect it.
Moreover, Shri Chouhan told the students that knowledge cannot be obtained by just rote but knowledge should be imbibed in life besides study. Narrating story about fowler and bird and Maha Bharat, he told the students to not to just hear good thoughts and things but to imbibe them in their behavior and conduct.
CM Shri Chouhan heard lesson from the students from the book Bal Bharti of class 7. Told the students to solve arithmetic questions. Shri Chouhan said that sports is must besides studies. Sports keep brain and body healthy. Children should respect their parents and teachers.
Moreover, Shri Chouhan directed the officials for upgradation of Nayapura High School to Higher Secondary School from the next academic session as per the demand of the students and to provide cricket kit, badminton set and volleyball to the students.
CM Shri Chouhan mentioned that number of students has increased significantly through ‘Mil Banche Madhya Pradesh’ abhiyan. Arrangement for Skill development training is being made for the children beside formal education. The government has taken a resolution to provide better education prospects to the talented students.
Chairman Forest Development Corporation Shri Guruprasad Sharma, President Jila Panchayat Smt. Urmila Maretha, Shri Raghunath Bhati and public representatives besides villagers in large number were present in the programme.
