Conference on “Vaccination 2023″ concluded

 

Aligarh : A two-day conference titled “Vaccination 2023: Vaccine and Safety Concerns”, organized by the department of Pharmacology at JN Medical College, concluded on Tuesday. One of the highlights of the conference was an enlightening exercise on reporting adverse effects of drugs. The initiative aimed to enhance the understanding and implementation of proper drug safety protocols.

The conference also featured a competitive event for resident doctors. Dr Samreen Khan, Dr Swaleha Akhtar, and Dr Fazlur Rahman from Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, secured the first, second, and third positions respectively, showcasing their knowledge and skills in the field.

The event also saw presentation of insightful research papers, with Dr Swaleha Akhtar, Dr Shailja Singh, Dr Saad, and Dr Shamima being acknowledged for their excellent contributions. The students from Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College were guided by Dr. Deewan Israr Khan in the preparation of their research papers.

Prof Fareeda Ahmad, the Organizing Chairperson, and Dr Jameel Ahmad, the Organizing Secretary, appreciated all the participants for their active involvement and support.

The conference has contributed significantly to the academic community, fostering a better understanding of vaccination and addressing safety concerns. It is a testament to JN Medical College’s commitment to advancing medical research and education.
