Conference on Women Empowerment to be held Today at the Faculty of Law in the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)

Aligarh: An international conference on ‘Women Empowerment, Gender Justice and Role of International Law’ organised by the Law society will be held on August 28 through a video conferencing platform at the Faculty of Law in the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

The conference will feature Wafa Rashid Al Alyani (Director, Students Affairs Department, University of Buraimi, Sultanate of Oman), Namrata Pradhan (Visiting Professor, Royal University of Bhutan, Bhutan) and Dr Sadaf Khan (Princess Nora University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), said Prof M Shakeel Ahmed Samdani, Dean, Faculty of Law.

“The conference is scheduled to begin from 3: 00 pm on Friday and participants are requested to join at least 10 minutes before the starting time,” said Abdullah Samdani, Secretary, Law Society.
