Consultative Meeting held at AMU for Independence Day Celebrations

Aligarh : A consultative meeting was convened at Aligarh Muslim University’s (AMU) Conference Hall, under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor, Prof Mohammad Gulrez. The primary objective of the meeting was to discuss and finalize the arrangements for the highly anticipated Independence Day celebrations on August 15.

Prof Gulrez reiterated the university’s unwavering commitment to commemorate Independence Day with enthusiasm and traditional fervor. The celebration holds profound significance as the country is celebrating ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ‘ and the prestigious presidency G-20 summit celebration.

Highlighting the spirit of unity and patriotism, the AMU Registrar, Mr Mohammad Imran (IPS), announced that the university will host a traditional Mushaira at the University Polytechnic auditorium on the eve of Independence Day, adding a touch of cultural splendor to the festivities.

The presence of all functionaries and officials at this meeting ensures a united effort in making the Independence Day celebrations at AMU a success.
