Cooperation between PetrSU and Segezha Group

G.I. Ivanov received a letter of gratitude from the rector of PetrSU A.V. Voronin for active cooperation and great personal contribution to the development of interaction between PetrSU and the Segezha municipal district in the framework of the implementation of strategic projects and activities of the Development Program of the flagship university.

JSC “Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill” has always been a strategic partner of PetrSU and in 2020, even in the face of serious restrictions associated with the coronavirus epidemic, work did not stop. The events took place in a remote format.

The Lift to the Future Career Day, organized by Segezha Group, the Sistema Charitable Foundation for students of the Institute of Forestry, Mining and Construction Sciences and the Physico-Technical Institute of PetrSU, took place online.

In the distance format, the implementation of the distance learning program for higher education for the personnel of JSC “Segezha PPM” in the areas of training: “Informatics and computer technology” and “Technological machines and equipment” continued. In April 2020, JSC “Segezha PPM” took part in the online job fair for technical and engineering specialties “TECHNO.PRO”.

In October, a delegation of Segezha PPM JSC visited PetrSU.

Currently, the issues of attracting students to practice, employment of graduates of PetrSU at the Segezha PPM, scientific research in the field of disposal and processing of industrial waste are being discussed.

G.I. Ivanov thanked PetrSU for the long-term cooperation, expressing confidence in its continuation and further strengthening of business ties in the scientific and educational spheres.
