Corona’s situation is constantly improving in state: #MadhyaPradesh CM

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the condition of Corona in the state is constantly improving. A large number of patients have recovered and are returning home. There is continuous decline in new cases. A strategy is now being chalked out taking into account the situation in all cities and districts to overcome Corona crisis soon. Senior officers appointed for monitoring the districts are now going to the districts and continuously studying conditions there.

223 out of 3942 Corona samples positive, significant decline in cases

Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman said that there is a constant decline in the number of positive patients found in the Corona tests being conducted in the state. This suggests that the pace of the spread of infection is steadily decreasing. Out of total 3942 Corona samples in the state, only 223 have tested positive according to the Corona test report today. The situation in Bhopal has also greatly improved. Out of 2030 samples here, 30 have tested positive. Similarly, there is significant improvement in the situation in Ujjain and Jabalpur. Out of 225 samples of Ujjain, 4 are positive and one sample out of 222 samples of Jabalpur is positive. None of the 250 samples of Gwalior have tested positive.

Record tests conducted in Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain

It was informed in the review that to prevent Corona infection, record tests have been conducted in Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain districts. India has an average of 517 tests per 10 lakh people. As many as 3316 tests have been conducted in Bhopal, 2486 in Indore and 3870 tests per 10 lakh in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, which is a record. There has been no Corona positive case since 22 days in Shivpuri district, 17 days in Guna district and 16 days in Agar district. Betul and Ratlam districts have not received any positive case since last 13 days.

Adequate medical supplies and excellent treatment facility in state

It was informed during the meeting that adequate medical supplies and excellent treatment facilities are available in the state for prevention and treatment of Corona. We have sufficient testing kits, PPE kits, masks etc. available. Testing will start from today in Aurobindo Hospital and in R.D. Gardi hospital from tomorrow. We are getting about 2000 tests conducted daily which is adequate.

Shops in only streets to open, not markets

Chief Secretary Shri Bains made it clear that all collectors must ensure that only street shops will be opened in infection-free areas, not markets. Supply of only essential items will be ensured in the districts and areas infected more.
