Cricket Tournament organised under NMBA concludes at Rajouri

Rajouri: The inter District Cricket Tournament organised by the Social Welfare Department under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan concluded today here at District Police Lines Ground.

Series of activities are being organised in the district as a part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan to keep the youth away from drug addiction and channelize their energies in a positive direction.

The cricket tournament started on 14th February and witnessed huge and overwhelming participation of the youth hailing from different districts.

Speaking on the occasion, the District Social Welfare Officer, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt said that the aim for organizing such events is to step up efforts against its war on drugs and these tournaments will help the youth divert their energy towards a positive action as well as promote sportsmanship among them.
