CUPB organized condolence meeting on the sad demise of Registrar’s Father Shri Bachan Singh Mundra
Bathinda: Central University of Punjab conducted a condolence meeting on the sad demise of Shri Bachan Singh Mundra, the father of Registrar Shri. Kanwal Pal Singh Mundra. On this occasion, faculty and staff observed two-minute silence to pay a tribute to the departed soul.
While expressing his grief, CUPB Vice Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari said that our Late Sardaar Bachan Singh Mundra father of Kanwal Pal Singh Mundra, was a noble soul, a great academician and administrator, who had worked as Director Publication in Punjab School Education Board. He also contributed to the welfare of society by working as member of Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana High Court where he helped many persons in settling their legal disputes without charging any amount from them. Prof. Vinod K. Garg, Dean Student Welfare expressed his grief and informed that the Bhog and Antim Adras for the eternal peace of the departed soul will be held on 17th October 2020 at Gurudwara Shri Kalgidhar Singh Sabha, Phase 4, Sector 59, Mohali from 12 noon to 1 PM, He hoped that Shri KPS Mundra would continue to work for the society as his father worked for the upliftment of the weaker section On this occasion, Prof. R.K. Wusirika, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. S.K. Bawa, Director IQAC, Prof. Tarun Arora, Dr. Satwinder Singh, Dr. Rubal Kanozia and others expressed their sorrow on behalf of faculty and staff.
