Curators of student groups of educational institutions of PetrSU study

On March 29, at the faculty of advanced training and professional retraining of PetrSU, classes began on the additional professional advanced training program “Prevention of the spread of the ideology of extremism and terrorism among the youth.” Training is carried out online on the ZOOM platform. The program was attended by teachers of educational institutes of PetrSU, supervising student groups of freshmen.
The program was developed by the senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Institute of Economics and Law of PetrSU Azimov Eldar Mehtiyarovich.

The aim of the program is to improve the competencies of teachers in the field of preventing the spread of the ideology of extremism and terrorism among young people. The listeners will have to master relevant topics: “The legal foundations of countering the ideology of terrorism and extremism”, “Criminological characteristics of extremism and terrorism”, “Peculiarities of the spread of the ideology of extremism and terrorism on the Internet”, “Peculiarities of preventing the spread of the ideology of extremism and terrorism among the youth”, “Prevention radicalization: Russian and foreign experience “.

The program includes lectures, independent work of students with regulatory documents and teaching materials. Final certification involves the performance of test tasks. Students who have successfully mastered the program and passed the final certification will receive a certificate of professional development in the established form. Classes for students are conducted by Azimov Eldar Mehtiyarovich, senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Institute of Economics and Law of PetrSU. Moderator of the program – Popova Olga Vladimirovna, specialist in the work of students of the faculty of advanced training and professional retraining of PetrSU.
