In addition to inspiring stories and entertainment by local and global artists, TEDxHyderabad 2019 offers a platform to network and make new and rewarding connections and open up limitless opportunities and avenues. An ‘Experience Zone’ at the venue will showcase new technologies, innovations and breakthroughs in sustainability.

“Since its launch in 2014, TEDxHyderabad has grown x6 in terms of number of attendees. The approach we take at TEDxHyderabad, is to not limit ourselves to just sharing ideas, instead we go beyond the events, to build a community that brings about social impact and community change. Not only has the response from the audience been phenomenal but people have begun to acknowledge the work that TEDxHyderabad has been doing in building a network of Thinkers, Enablers & Doers who can collaborate to address community needs and bring about tangible change. Our teams have been involved in projects ranging from lake restoration to the setting up of rural libraries, across Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana” said Viiveck Verma, Curator of TEDxHyderabad.

“We chose the theme ‘Limitless’ to inspire people to redefine their personal benchmarks. The human mind is bound by ‘limitations’ that are self-created, either due to prevalent social structures or personal beliefs. These limitations hamper growth, creativity, lifestyles and achievements. We believe that everyone has the potential to become ‘limitless’ once we master our own minds and redefine the extent of what we believe is possible. TEDxHyderabad 2019 speakers include three Padmashri awardees and a host of achievers who have mastered their minds and gone on to achieve limitlessness.” Said Dr. Anthony Vipin Das, TED Senior Fellow and Co-Organizer of TEDxHyderabad.

TEDxHyderabad events have been brought to the city and are managed by the members of a not-for-profit society – SAHE (Society for Advancement of Human Endeavour). SAHE is also involved in several community driven projects in the city of Hyderabad. In the past, the team has organized TEDxHyderabadLive – a live streaming of talks as they happen; TEDxHyderabadWomen – an interactive session with live talks from the main TEDWomen event; TEDxHyderabad – a flagship speaker event and TEDxYouth@Hyderabad targeted at a younger teen audience, besides taking up various community projects around environment, education and social causes.
