Cyber Security Awareness Program held

 

Aligarh: An awareness program on Cyber Security was conducted at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on August 23, in a hybrid mode, following the Ministry’s guidelines. The event was jointly organized by the Prof. M.N. Faruqui Computer Centre and the Department of Computer Science.

The program saw enthusiastic participation from student volunteers, particularly those from the MSc Cyber Security and Digital Forensics programs, and attendees from various courses and institutions. Young faculty and staff from the organizing departments actively contributed to the initiative.

Internal speakers included Prof. Arman Rasool Faridi, Chairperson of the Computer Science Department, and Dr. Parvez Mahmood Khan, Director of the Computer Centre. Dr. Irfan Alam, Coordinator at VIT Bhopal, delivered a keynote session online.

 Prof. Aasim Zafar, OSD Development at AMU, presided over the program.
