Cycle Rally organised as a part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav; Div Com felicitates cyclists, appreciates their siprit

 

JAMMU : As part of the ongoing Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav being celebrated to imbibe the spirit of Nationalism among youth and commemorate India’s 75 years of Independence a cycle rally was organised here today.

The ‘Maa Tujhe Pranam’ Cycle Rally was organised by Amar Ujala Newspaper in collaboration with International Daily Rising School Sainik Colony and sponsored by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Hospital and Akash Institute.

The Rally started from Hari Singh Park and culminated at IDR School Chowadi passing through University Road, Railway Station Road, Trikuta Nagar, Marble Market and Sainik Colony.

Earlier, the cycle rally started with plantation drive at host school by chief guest Div com Dr Raghav Langer and special guest of the event , Dr Raj Bharat Bhagat, Director Aakash institute Jammu, medical superintendent Dr sumit sharma of Naryana super speciality hospital , Mohit from sahitya sangam , Goldy from Jammu cyclist association and Dilbagh singh from green eco Riders .

 

Dr Langer, while speaking on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of Amar Ujala and the participating Cyclists for organizing such a huge cycle rally in a disciplined manner and following covid safety SOPs and guidelines. He advised to organise more such events in future to imbibe the spirit of Nationalism among the young generation. He also felicitated the participants with certificates of appreciation and medals.

The Children of the school presented a culture program which was highly appreciated by the audience. Dr Atul Hans, Academic Director of International Daily rising school thanked Chief Guest and Amar Ujala Newspaper and the sponsors Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayna Hospital and others.
