Cynoteck Doon Monsoon 10K Run 2023 (3rd Edition) held in Dehradun.

Dehradun : Cynotech, in association with Trikon Society, Thrill Zone, Uttarakhand Tourism, and Narcotics Control Bureau, organized the Dehradun Monsoon 10K Run 2023 (third edition) on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 6 am, from the STPI IT Park, Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun. The theme of this edition was “Run against Drug Abuse,” where approx 1,000 male and female participants took part in the run.

Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi participated as the chief guest in the Dehradun Monsoon 10K Run. During this event, the participants conveyed a message of drug-free living through the marathon. Minister Ganesh Joshi boosted the enthusiasm of the participants and awarded the winners of the competition, wishing them a bright future. It is noteworthy that in this marathon, along with people from every age group, differently-abled athletes also participated and showcased their splendid performance.

Minister Ganesh Joshi said that a healthy body is essential for a better society. It is necessary for individuals to have a healthy mind, words, and actions. He mentioned that every person should take the initiative to make things happen themselves. He congratulated the organizers for arranging this marathon for drug prevention and awareness. He emphasized the need to encourage such events. Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making continuous efforts for sports and athletes. He mentioned that under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state government is taking several initiatives to promote and uplift athletes. Minister Joshi stated that the state government has set a goal to make Uttarakhand drug-free by 2025, and it requires everyone to have a firm resolve against drugs.

Ms. Neha Sharma, Director of Trikon Society, expressed her happiness that the participants enthusiastically took part in the Dehradun Monsoon 10K Run 2023 held in Dehradun today. The theme of this year’s run was “Run against Drug Abuse,” which will raise awareness among people not to consume any kind of drugs in their lives and encourage others to lead a healthy life.

Mr. P.C. Kushwaha, Founder of Thrill Zone, shared the results of the Cynotech Dehradun Monsoon Run 2023, saying, “The race started from STPI IT Park, Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun, and continued towards Sahastradhara Divergence. The participants in the 5-kilometer category turned back from the divergence and completed their run at the IT Park. The participants in the 10-kilometer category ran ahead from the divergence towards Kalagaon, reaching Navraj Farms, and then turned back, returning to the IT Park, Sahastradhara Road, completing the 10-kilometer run. In the Cynotech Dehradun Monsoon 10K Run 2023 (third edition), Saurabh Sharma secured the first place in the male category, and Varnika Sharma secured the first place in the female category for the age group under 18. Satpal secured the first place in the male category, and Isha Sharma secured the first place in the female category for the age group 19-30. Jayadrath Singh secured the first place in the male category for the age group 31-40. Mohit Jain secured the first place in the male category, and Shashi Mehta secured the first place in the female category for the age group 41-50. Tara Bahadur Thapa secured the first place in the male category for the age group 51-70. Tara Guruphool Singh secured the first place in the male category, and Pradeep Yadav and Poonam Yadav secured the first place in the couple category.

In the 5-kilometer run Deepak Rawat secured the first place in the male category, and Sarita secured the first place in the female category. Shubham Arora and Bhavana Arora secured the first place in the couple category. In the solomate category, Prabhjot and Gursidhak secured the first place.”

On this occasion, Asha Nautiyal ,  Pradesh  Adhayaksh BJP Mahila Morcha,  Ruchi Bhatt , Pradesh Upadyaksh , BJP Mahila morcha, Ms. Neha Sharma, Director of Trikon Society, Mr. P.C. Kushwaha, Founder of Thrill Zone, and Mr. Udit Handa, CEO of Cynotech, were present.
