Cytecare announces the appointment of Dr. Nagaraj as Senior Consultant – Radiology

Chennai: Cytecare Cancer Hospitals, committed to revolutionizing Cancer care in India with organ specific approach, has strengthened their team of dedicated doctors by announcing the appointment of Dr. Nagaraj K.R as a Senior Consultant, Radiology.

Dr. Nagaraj is the first radiologist to work with a PET CT hybrid imaging scanner and 3T MRI imaging systems in Bengaluru. He has more than fifteen years of experience as a radiologist. His special emphasis lies in head and neck oncology, hepato-biliary and gastrointestinal oncology and musculoskeletal oncology. He has more than nine years of experience in Onco-Radiology imaging, including interpretation of PET CT, MRI, CT, performing image guided biopsies, FNAC (Fine needle aspiration cytology) and facilitating radiotherapy planning in complex anatomical regions.

Dr. Nagaraj did his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute & DMRD, DNB (Radio- Diagnosis) from TNMC Mumbai. He has worked with HCG, Narayana Health & The Bangalore Hospitals in the past. Dr. Nagaraj also manages quality assurance programmers and is a Certified NABH assessor for Medical Imaging Services. He has written for several publications and is also a member of IRIA (Indian Radiological and Imaging Association) and the IMA.
