Dana India’s CSR initiative benefits over 600 students in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand

Dana’s initiative aims to enhance the quality of local schools.

Rudrapur : Dana India is pleased to announce the successful completion of a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. These efforts, funded by Dana Anand India Private Limited (DAIPL), aimed to support local schools by improving essential infrastructure, thereby contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

The first initiative involved the renovation of washrooms and the upgrading of blackboards at the Government Primary School in Sanjay Nagar, Rudrapur. Completed in January 2024, the project was designed to enhance hygiene standards and educational facilities for 150 students.

In February 2024, Dana completed the second phase of the CSR initiative, which focused on renovating the kitchen and staff room at the Government Middle School in Ram Nagar, Rudrapur. The upgrades improved the learning environment for 206 students.

In March 2024, the third project concluded with the construction of a dining shed and new washroom facilities for the Government Primary School in Shiv Nagar, Rudrapur. This development benefits 245 students by providing improved amenities.
