Dare to Overcome India will celebrate ‘Unity in Diversity’ 

The Delhi chapter of Dare to Overcome India (DTO), the pioneering platform promoting essential core values for creating inclusive, diverse, and peaceful work environments, is scheduled for 4th October 2023 in New Delhi, India. DTO, produced by Teamwork Arts, brings together global business leaders to share best practices, moral virtues, and corporate values, fostering unity and understanding amongst diverse cultures, ultimately working towards sustainable peace and prosperity.

The event will feature panel discussions, awards ceremonies, and keynote addresses. DTO-India will be attended by industry leaders, practitioners, and advocates of diversity and inclusion. The agenda includes a series of plenary discussions, breakout sessions, and roundtables addressing critical topics that transcend geographical and organisational boundaries.

DTO has curated an impressive keynote panel featuring senior leaders from renowned multinational corporations. In one discussion, Karun Gupta, Finance Director – India, Salesforce; Manoj Paul, Managing Director – India, Equinix; V Chandramouliswaran (Mouli), Vice President Data, PayPal; and Sonia Singh, Editorial Director at NDTV, will discuss their companies’ embrace of workplace cultural diversity both in India and globally.

The daylong conference will also feature a distinguished panel of influential women leaders in the industry. Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson & MD, Bharat Hotels Limited; and Naina Lal Kidwai, Chairperson Rothschild India & Senior Advisor Advent Private Equity, will discuss progress in the workplace in areas of gender diversity, equity, and inclusion. They will be in conversation with Sanjoy K. Roy, Managing Director, Teamwork Arts.

Some of the sessions will delve into topics such as corporate cultural diversity, group growth and impact in MNCs in India, and fostering alliances between women business leaders. Esteemed panelists will share insights and roadmap strategies for companies aiming to embrace diversity and inclusion.

Gagan Singh, Chief Culture Evangelist at Anarock Property Consultants Pvt. Ltd, will engage in a conversation with Zainab Patel, Inclusion and Diversity Lead at Pernod Ricard India, to explore the celebration of diversity in areas like culture and effective strategies for handling challenging workplace diversity discussions.

Renowned spiritual leader Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati will share her unique experiences of navigating between cultures, highlighting crucial aspects that Indians should understand about the West and vice versa. This enlightening keynote aims to foster cultural understanding and appreciation.

Another session titled Building Bridges of Support Between US & Indian Workplaces will explore the collaboration between Indian and US companies, focusing on practical and cultural aspects that need to be navigated for maximum success. The panelists will discuss strategies for fostering successful cross-cultural partnerships.

DTO-India 2023 will also be the first-ever international gathering of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) committed to fostering intercultural understanding in corporate workplaces, including representatives from MNCs Salesforce, PayPal, Equinix, American Airlines, etc. A call will be made for all companies to consider adding such ERGs to their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. DTO’s Unity in Diversity global gathering will be held at the Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi.
