Dave Sharma Sworn in as First Indian-Origin NSW Senator in Australian Parliament

Indian-origin former MP #DaveSharma was officially sworn in on Monday as a senator for New South Wales (NSW) in #Australian Parliament.

Sharma, 47, defeated former state treasurer #AndrewConstance last month to become first person of Indian-origin from opposition Liberal party to win NSW senate position.
