Dawakhana products get new logo
Aligarh: A new logo with an up-to-date visual identity will feature on the packaging of the Dawakhana Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) products as the customary, 70-year-old circular logo has been replaced with an abbreviated word mark, ‘DTC’.
This new trademark sign was selected by Dr Hamida Tariq (Renowned pediatrician) from among 105 entries received in the Logo Design Competition organised by the Dawakhana Tibbiya College. Department of Architecture student, Saiq Anwar was given the second prize with a cash of Rs 5, 000.
“Recently, there has been an increase in the demand of nature-based products and Unani Medicine across the globe. We have set our eyes on bolstering the development of our Unani products. The new logo will differentiate the Dawakhana products from others, and foster fresh brand loyalty,” said Prof Salma Ahmad, Member-in-Charge, Dawakhana Tibbiya College.
She added that the new logo will now be printed on all Dawakhana products.
Prof Salma was speaking during the prize distribution ceremony, which also had Mr Taufiq Ahmed (Officiating General Manager, Dawakhana Tibbiya College).
