Dawakhana Tibbiya College Opens Third Retail Outlet
Aligarh : The Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor Professor Mohd Gulrez inaugurated Dawakhana Tibbiya College’s newest retail outlet today. On this occasion he was joined by notable dignitaries including Mr Mohammad Imran (IPS), the university Registrar (Occupier-DTC), Prof Salma Ahmed (Member in Charge –DTC), Mohd Shariq Azam (Officiating GM-DTC), Hakeem Abdullah (Production Manager, DTC), Prof Hammad Usmani (Director-MAS), Dr Salman Shah (Asst Director-MAS), Dr Shariq Aqil (CMO-University Health Service), Dr Syed Moied Ahmad (Prof, Department of Anaesthesiology), and the marketing team of DTC.
This marks the establishment of the third retail outlet for DTC, with the previous two located opposite Sulaiman Hall and within the AKTC Hospital premises. The newly inaugurated outlet finds its place within the Medical Assistance Scheme (MAS), aiming to promote the Unani system of medicine and ensure easy accessibility for its patients.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the Dawakhana Team for their initiative in opening this outlet within MAS, specifically targeting the university’s employees and students. Recognizing the substantial number of university personnel and students who place great faith in nature-based products, the Member in Charge, DTC, expressed confidence that this outlet would effectively cater to their needs.
The occasion signifies both the progress of DTC and the unwavering commitment of Aligarh Muslim University to holistic healthcare and the advancement of traditional healing practices.
