Day 1 of India’s largest design and media education conclave “The Edutainment Show” witnessed thousands of student attendees
New Delhi: The 7th edition of India’s largest design and media education conclave, ‘The Edutainment Show’, kickstarted on a high note as thousands of students attended the event on Day 1. A huge success, ‘The Edutainment Show’ was organized by Event Capital, a division of Laqshya Media Group, at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai and inaugurated by Mr. Deepak Choudhary, Founder & Director of Event Capital.
A perfect platform for aspiring students, the “The Edutainment Show” offers students exciting career opportunities in alternative fields such as journalism, PR, advertising, event management, fashion, designing, etc. along with a chance to meet industry experts & bigwigs who shared their experiences, while motivating the students. Some of the prominent speakers included Fashion Designer and Social Activist Shaina NC who spoke on Fashion Designing as a Career; Ad Guru and Theatre personality Bharat Dabholkar shared insights on careers in Advertising; Renowned Choreographer & Entrepreneur Terence Lewis shared his insights on how to become an Entrepreneur and spoke about the challenges he faces even today. He mentioned “it is hard to become an Entrepreneur. You have to make a lot of sacrifices”; Mr. Sandeep Ramesh, Industry Head-Media & Entertainment at Google spoke on Careers in the Google Age; RJ Malishka shared some tips on a career in Radio and Beyond. She emphasized on, intent, hustle, and faith. She said, “Do everything in life with the right intent, back it up with the hustle and never lose faith” ; some interesting tips on content creation on YouTube were shared by famous YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani.
The summit also witnessed Fireside Chat with Ace Tv & Radio Host Siddharth Kanan along with Singer Arjun Kanungo, Playback Singer & Composer Ankit Tiwari and Lyricist Manoj Muntashir who engaged the students with their musical acts and gave them a chance to share the stage with them.
There were various workshops organized on Day 1, conducted by young achievers including Graphic Design – Shape of Hue by Mehak Malhotra; Creativity and Concept Development by Dominik Raskin; Design Thinking by Pravinsinh Solanki; Personalized Doodle Art by Shefali Desai; Fluid Art Workshop by Snehal Patil; Expressive Typography by Falguni Agarwal; Portfolio making by Kavan Antani amongst others.
Speaking on the success of the first day, Mr. Deepak Choudhary, Co-Founder & Director of Event Capital, said, “It is great to see such a great response on Day 1. It was a houseful show today with some power packed sessions with our young achievers. Unimaginable career options are cropping up every year, changing the job scenarios.
