Teachers and students of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences of PetrSU took part in the All-Russian action “Day of Unified Actions”.
On April 19, 2021, the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences of PetrSU (IIPSN) joined the All-Russian action “Day of Unified Actions”. The action was held within the framework of the All-Russian project “No statute of limitations”. Students of the 3rd and 4th years of the IIPSN took part in the action “Day of Unified Actions” at PetrSU.
Doctor of historical sciences, professor, director of IIPSN S.G. Verigin and Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian History Yu.N. Zelenskaya. Yu.N. Zelenskaya informed about the All-Russian project “No statute of limitations”, the participation in it of representatives of the Republic of Karelia, in particular, teachers and students of PetrSU. S.G. Verigin spoke about the peculiarities of the Finnish occupation regime on the territory of the KFSSR in 1941-1944, discussions in domestic and foreign historiography.
Participants of the action watched a film about the genocide of the Soviet people during the war, wrote letters “It is impossible to forget.” At the request of the students, the letters will be transferred to the PetrSU History Museum.
