DBA, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) hosted a reunion of the ’94 batch

Aligarh: The Department of Business Administration (DBA), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) hosted a reunion of the ’94 batch at Frank and Debbie Islam Management Complex. Prof Javaid Akhter, Faculty Incharge, Alumni Affairs Committee welcomed MBA ’94 batch and recalled memories he had with the group. Prof Parvaiz Talib, Chairman, DBA recollected the special bond he shared with 1994 batch.

To take the group down the memory lane, old photos of each student of the batch were displayed.

Ms Rukhsana P Haque and Mr Vivek Jain from ’94 batch convened the latter half of the event where they introduced all their batch mates to the gathering. Ms Rukhsana highlighted that all of them had been waiting for this reunion for the past nine months. Ms Sheza Nabi. Alumnus from ’94 group extended her gratitude to FMSR for organizing reunion. Mr Ghazali Sami delivered the vote of thanks and wished students a successful career.

Some of the alumni of ’94 batch who attended the function are Rukhsana P Haque, Vikas Brijkaushli, Vivek Jain, Ghazali Sami, SAM Hussaini, Rashid Ausaf, Siraj Khan, Masroof Faisal Farooque, Nasir Hasan, Najmi Suhail, Nagma Nabi, Mussannah Nadeem, Sumbul Rehmani, and Dharam Raj Yadav.

The second half of the event was divided in two sessions. The first session was hosted by Mr SAM Hussaini where he briefed the students about the role of storytelling in advertisement and its powerful impact on the target audience.

The second session presented a series of lectures. Mr Syed Rashid Ausuf, Vice-President and Head at Reliance Jio Infocom, elaborated the topic ‘Disruption in Financial Services and the changing landscape of financial crime. Ms Sheza Nabi, Head Customer Experience at Bharti Airtel, shared her ideas on ‘From classroom to boardroom’. Mr Vikas Brijkaushali, owner, Defence Supply Centre, presented a brief talk on ‘Integration of Open source tools in Computer Integrated Manufacturing’.

The MBA batch of 1994 proposed to contribute Rs 10 lacs to build one of the classrooms in Phase 2 at Frank and Debbie Islam Management Complex. Alumni Meet was coordinated by Prof Javaid Akhter and Prof Ayesha Farooq, Faculty Incharge, Alumni Affairs Committee, FMSR along with team of student members of Alumni Affairs Committee.
