DC Anantnag flags-off 65 girl trekkers to health resort Pahalgam

ANANTNAG : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Basharat Qayoom today flagged-off a batch of 65 girl trekkers to famous health resort Pahalgam.

The trekking expedition has been organised by the Department of Youth Services & Sports District Anantnag.

The girl trekkers have been selected from various schools of all 12 Zones from AAG.

The District Youth Services and Sports Officer was also accompanying the Chief Guest.

Adequate arrangements have been made well in advance by the department along with all logistic support including experienced trekking guides.

It is worth mentioning here that the Department of Youth Services and Sports is regularly organising trekking for both Boys and Girls.
