DC Bandipora chairs meeting of DRC

Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad today chaired a meeting of the District Registration Committee (DRC) for registration of clinical establishments in the district.

The meeting was informed that 50 applications have been received for registration of clinical establishments in the district. All the applications were reviewed and discussed in the meeting.

DC directed the officials to conduct the spot visit of these establishments to assess whether the requisite formalities have been completed and asked them to submit a report for further necessary action.

He also directed thorough verification of each application for registration of clinical establishment so that there remains no scope for any sort of violation of medical and service delivery standards and rules.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent DH Bandipora and Deputy Superintendent of Police besides other senior officers of the district.
