DC Bandipora reviews arrangements of Yatri Camp Shadipora for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2022

BANDIPORA : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmad today reviewed the pace of works in progress at Shadipora transit camp for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY)-2022, in a meeting held at VC Room of Mini Secretariat Bandipora.

The meeting was virtually attended by SSP Bandipora Mohd Zahid, SDM sumbal Dr. Bashir Lone and SDPO sumbal Surinder Verma.

Joint Director Planning, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Ex. Engineers of PDD and PHE also participated in the meeting.

Threadbare discussions were held regarding various issues including CCTV installation, construction of compound walls, Maintenance of existing structures, construction of barracks, availability of water supply, electricity, repairs of washrooms and tentage beside other essentials.

Dr. Owais directed the officers to expedite the works undertaken to augment the accommodation for temporary halt at transit camp in Shadipora in wake of expected huge footfall of yatries this year paying obeisance at holy cave via Baltal route. He asked for intensified preparations for the basic amenities at the transit camp.

The DC directed to complete all works well in time and asked the concerned to take all yatra related works on priority.
