DC Baramulla interacts with beneficiaries of Saksham scheme
BARAMULLA : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today interacted with the beneficiaries registered under Saksham scheme.
Saksham scheme aims to provide Special Financial Assistance to the surviving family members of Covid modalities.
It is worth mentioning here that in district Baramulla, 52 cases were registered under Saksham scheme in which 45 cases were sanctioned for Scholarship while as 20 cases were sanctioned for Pension for surviving parents, besides all the registered cases have been benefited with one time Assistance of Rupees Fifty Thousand.
The interaction programme was held in the backdrop of the Prime Minister’s interaction with the children who have lost their loved one due to Corona. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said that PM CARES for children is an effort to reduce the difficulties of Corona affected children.
On the occasion, the DC stressed for cent percent coverage benefits of children under Ayushman Health Cards and be covered for minority scholarship programmes.
