DC constitutes committee for traffic decongestion in Anantnag Town

Anantnag: In an urgent measure to address the unprecedented traffic congestion in Anantnag town, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla has ordered the constitution of a committee of officers tasked to prepare a decongestion plan.

The committee will be headed by ACR (CEO MC Ang) and has representative of SSP Ang, Tehslidar Ang, DySP Traffic Ang and ARTO as the other members.

The committee shall submit comprehensive report recommending the administrative measures such as identification of parking sites, construction of footpaths besides removal of encroachments on pedestrian foot paths to be taken to decongest the town area.

The report has to be submitted within a period of 10 days.
