DC Doda reviews Covid situation, control measures; Seeks speedy registration under PM-JAY SEHAT scheme

Doda : Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today reviewed the Covid-19 situation and containment measures in Doda District here in a meeting held at conference hall DC office.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Rakesh Kumar; Sub Division Magistrate Gandoh, Pritam Lal Thapa; Sub Division Magistrate Thathri, Athar Ameen Zargar; Sub Division Magistrate, Assar, Rishi Sharma; Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Yaqoob Mir; MS AHGMC Doda Dr Yudhvir; District Epidemologist Umar Anayat; besides BMOs and other Staff of Health Department were also present in the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the sub division and block wise situation of positive patients, health care facilities, status of ongoing vaccination drive, existing number of vaccination sites, the protocol being followed to treat the Covid patients, besides reviewed registration under PM-JAY SEHAT scheme.
The DC directed the SDMs and BMOs to expedite the vaccination by mobilising the field functionaries, PRI members, and increasing the vaccination sites.
In response to the LG’s directions, The DC also directed the BMOs to start the distribution of kits having all the important medicines for the positive patients under home isolation with immediate effect.
While reviewing the registration under PM-JAY SEHAT scheme, the DC directed the nodal agency to make functional all the CSCs immediately to expedite enrollment. He further asked to activate the VLEs in their respective jurisdictions so that people shall not face any inconveniences.
The DC also instructed the officers to ensure strict adherence to the Covid related guidelines and SOPs in the district.
