DC Doda reviews progress on Back to Village works
Doda: Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Vikas Sharma, today chaired a meeting of concerned Officers to review the progress of works identified under B2V program, here at the mini hall of DC office.
During the meeting, the DC took first hand appraisal regarding identification of works, physical status of approved works, funds released, expenditure incurred against the works approved under edition first etc.
The DC directed all the concerned to submit the status of works approved under B2V, funds released, and how many are completed physically and financially. Besides, he directed the Executive Engineer PHE Doda to submit the factual report, reasons of delay against the approved works regarding estimation and tendering process.
The DC also asked the Executive Engineer Irrigation Department to submit the list of non functional Khuls to the rural development department so that they shall be taken up under MGNREGA during the next financial year plan.
About B2V-3, it was informed DC that 786 works have been identified by the Gram sabhas against which Rs 10 Lakh have been sanctioned and transferred in the accounts of each Panchayat directly, of which sports kits costing Rs 20 thousand have already been distributed in each Panchayat.
Further, the DC was informed that the works identified by the Panchayat would be taken only after tendering process, which is on.
The DC expressed concern over the slow progress of estimation against the B2V-3 works and directed Ex En Rural Engineering Wing to expedite the process and complete all the estimates in next 5 days and go for e tendering .
The DC asked the Ex En REW to submit the list of estimation done by JE/TA block wise, besides asked the ACD to monitor the progress on daily basis on priority.
Among others present in the meeting were CPO Doda, ACD Doda, SE Hydraulics, ACR Doda, Ex En PHE, JPDCL, REW besides other concerned officials.
