DC Doda reviews status of covid vaccination, testing

Doda: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today reviewed the ongoing Covid vaccination and RTPCR testing in the district here at a meeting with health department officers.

The meeting was attended by ADC; ACR, CMO, DIO, MS Associated Hospital GMC, HOD department of Microbiology, besides other officials of the concerned department.

The DC directed the concerned to increase the testing by laying special focus on RTPCR testing. He further asked the CMO to devise a 15 day plan to carry out the testing plan for the targeted areas as well as groups and submit the same to his office by or before April 2.

While reviewing the vaccination drive, it was informed that a total of 19 vaccination centres have been set up in the district to conduct the vaccination on scheduled days, while 34223 vaccine doses have been administered till date.

The DC asked the concerned to expedite the vaccination by mobilising the Asha workers, Anganwadi workers as well as PRI members and religious heads.

The DC directed all the concerned to make coordinated efforts so that recent surge can be mitigated by taking appropriate action on priority basis.
