DC inspects ongoing developmental works at District Hospital Kishtwar
KISHTWAR : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today visited District Hospital to inspect civil work of various ongoing developmental projects viz Oxygen generation plant; new 100 bedded building and ophthalmology department Block.
He was accompanied by Medical Superintendent District Hospital Dr. Parveez Iqbal Wani besides Concerned officers of the executing agencies.
The PWD authorities apprised to the DC that the installation of 500 LPM Oxygen generation plant under Prime Minister’s Care Fund is under full swing and will be completed within a week.
Besides, the DC was apprised that the work of installation on the other unit of 1500 LPM has been completed and the cross over flyover for the supply of oxygen to the manifold has been completed and it will be commissioned soon.
The DC said described the Oxygen plant as lifeline project amid the Covid-19 scenario and sought its completion on priority basis.
The DC asked the executing agency to work in double shifts to complete the remaining work on the Eye block and 100 bedded extension of the Hospital.
He directed Medical Superintendent to monitor the progress of the all these projects closely to facilitate early augmentation of the Hospital.
