DC inspects ongoing developmental works of International Yoga Centre at Mantalai

UDHAMPUR : Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna today conducted an extensive tour of Mantalai and adjoining areas and inspected progress of ongoing developmental projects, including the upcoming International Yoga convention Centre. The representative of National Projects Construction Corporation (NPCC) gave a brief about the present status of the ongoing developmental works of the prestigious project.
The DC directed NPCC to expedite the progress of ongoing developmental works and ensure completion within stipulated time frame.
The DC reviewed the progress of Tourist facilitation centre, dining centre/ cafeteria, Eco lodge huts with solariums integrated into cottage design, Meditation enclaves in apple orchard; helipad, ambulance shed, fire tender station, Wind Vane, Open Air Amphitheater with green rooms, landscaping, beautification of premises, Parking area with gender based toilets, security check posts, guard rooms, sewage Treatment plant, water treatment plant, battery operated cars and installation of signages.
During the visit, the DC also reviewed the progress of ongoing works on the Chenani Sudhmahadev National Highway-44. The Executing agencies were directed to expedite the progress for timely completion of the Road Project.
En-route, the DC also visited KV School Chennai, Gandola site. He inspected the facilities and ongoing developmental works in the KV.
The Principal of the school apprised the DC about the functioning of the school, the existing infrastructure, total strength of students, the courses being taught in the school, activities and programmes being conducted at the institution.
