DC Jammu reviews performance under B2V3, Capex Plan including DDC, BDC, PRI components

 

JAMMU : Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg today reviewed the progress of ongoing/new works proposed under B2V3, Pradhan Mantari Awaz Yojna- Gramin, besides District Capex Budget plan including DDC, BDC and PRI components.

At the outset, threadbare discussion was held on the progress of developmental projects undertaken by Rural Development to cater to the developmental needs of the district with focus on strengthening grassroots level democracy.

The concerned official apprised the Chair that 452 works under different RDD schemes have been approved of which 443 have been tendered, 191 have been allotted, 151 started and 62 completed.

It was also informed that other than RDD, 35 works including 14 of PWD, 15 of PDD and 6 of PHE have been proposed of which 29 have been tendered, 22 allotted, 10 started and 7 completed.

Regarding PMAY-G scheme , the meeting was told that 5272 beneficiaries were registered out of which 4499 houses have been completed in all respects.

Similarly, under the District Capex Budget- 2021-2022, a total 132 works have been proposed under the DDC plan, 206 works under the BDC plan and 3704 under the PRI plan.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of the ongoing works on different projects for their time-bound completion.

He also cautioned that any laxity in completing the works within the fixed timeline will not be tolerated at all.

The Deputy Commissioner exhorted for mobilizing adequate men and machinery for completing the projects and productive and fruitful utilization of the available resources.

ACD Ashok Choudhary; CPO Yoginder Katoch, besides senior officers of the concerned departments such as PWD, RDD, PMGSY were present in the meeting.
