DC Kathua listens to problems of WPRs

Kathua: Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Om Prakash met a delegation of West Pakistani Refugees (WPRs) and listened to their problems , here at his office the other day.

The delegation apprised the DC about host of problems faced by them with regard to the public services.

President WPRs Action Committee, Labha Ram Gandhi, leading an eleven member delegation apprised about the problems in processing relief cases of WPRs under prime Ministers Development Package (PMDP), issuance of Caste certificate, Domicile certificate besides availing services being provided by Govt. under Centre/UT sponsored schemes.

Tehsildars of Kathua, Hiranagar, Marheen and Nagri Parole were also present.

Deputy Commissioner impressed upon all concerned Tehsildars to organize weekly Block Diwas Camps in the blocks for resolving the issues pertaining to WPRs, and submit a conclusive report to DC office.

He assured visiting delegation members that action taken report of their projected issues will be reviewed on regular basis.
