DC Kathua reviews progress of works under BADP, ABDP & SSY

KATHUA: Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Rahul Pandey today reviewed the progress of the development works under Border Area Development Programme (BADP), Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) and Samridh Seema Yojana (SSY) during a meeting with concerned officers at DC Office complex.

The DC inquired about the physical and financial status of the ongoing works, number of schemes completed and headways achieved so far in the current fiscal.

The DC asked the stakeholder departments viz Jal Shakti, Irrigation, PWD, Rural Development, Social Welfare and other concerned officers to make all out efforts so that projects taken up under BADP, ABDP and SSY shall be completed within set timelines.

The DC also called upon executing agencies to refrain from carrying forward the current year liabilities to the next.

While reviewing the progress of Aspirational Block Development Programme which is being implemented in twin blocks of Duggan and Duggain, the DC was apprised by the concerned officers that a total of 34 works were taken up in the current financial year out of which 31 works have been completed

CPO, XEN PWD, XEN REW, CEO, CMO, ACD, BDO Nagri and Marheen besides BDO Duggan and BDO Duggain virtually attended the meeting.
