DC Kishtwar conducts surprise inspection of Govt Model Higher Secondary School Boys

Inspects progress of work on new School Building

KISHTWAR : Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav today conducted a surprise inspection of the Government Model Higher Secondary School (Boys) to take stock of the educational and infrastructural facilities.

During inspection, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the class rooms and laboratories and interacted with lecturers and students to assess the quality of teaching & learning.

While interacting with students, he enquired about the academics and related activities. The School Principal, Javed Ahmed Kichloo, briefed him about the available infrastructure and academic achievements.

The Deputy Commissioner assured him of extending every possible help in resolving issues.

The Deputy Commissioner impressed upon the faculty members to put in dedicated efforts to achieve the desired learning outcomes.

Meanwhile, he also inspected the ongoing work of the new multi-storey Building of the school.

Inspecting the progress of the work, the DC was informed that the project was coming up at an estimated cost of Rs 7.66 crore and the construction work is going on in full swing.

He instructed the executing agency to complete the project within the fixed timelines, besides stress was laid on strict adherence to the quality parameters and close monitoring of the work.
