DC Kishtwar reviews performance of banks at DLRC meeting
Kishtwar: To review the overall performance for the 3rd quarter, District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today chaired a District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting here at VC room DC office Complex Kishtwar.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Mohd Hanief Malik; ADC, Pawan Parihar; Joint Director Planning, Mohd Iqbal; ACR, Dr Amir Hussain; ALC, Anoop Kumar; EO Municipal council Tariq Balwan, Cluster Head of JK Bank, Ravi Sharma besides Heads of Line Departments and representatives of various Banks ( BMs of SBI, PNB, JKGB & JCC Bank ).
While highlighting the overall performance for the 3rd Quarter, the LDM informed the meeting that under District Credit Plan 2020-21 , District has recorded an achievement of Rs 236 cr which constitutes 76% of the target of Rs 310 cr. The achievement under priority sector is Rs 117 cr which constitutes 43% of the set target of Rs 174 cr .
Besides, the DDC also reviewed the progress of various flagship schemes under Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, like 100% saturation of farmers under KCC , PM SVANIDHI, PMAY ( Urban) etc.
Threadbare discussion was held with regard to credit under major Government sponsored schemes, including Entrepreneurship scheme launched during B2V3 Programme.
Schemes launched by Prime Minister like Stand up India, MUDRA Loans were also discussed.
The DCC directed the financial institutions and government Departments and other agencies to implement the schemes in letter and spirit and ensure 100% achievement to come up to the expectations of masses. “The Govt schemes are ultimately for creation of employment and poverty eradication and improving standard of living of the common people,” he said.
He instructed all the Banks for quick and hassle free disposal of all pending self-employment loan cases
The meeting also approved the ACP/ DCP for the FY 2021-22.
