DC Kishtwar reviews preparedness for upcoming “My Town My Pride” program
Asks Officers to gear up for Jan Abhiyan Activities ahead of MTMP
KISHTWAR : Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav (IAS), on Friday, chaired a meeting of all concerned officers to discuss the preparations for smooth conduct of My Town My Pride (MTMP) programme in the district.
The meeting discussed threadbare various aspects of the programme and the DC received feedback from the officers related to the Jan Abhiyan activities ahead of MTMP.
DC asked Officers to gear up for the Jan Abhiyan Activities ahead of MTMP which includes conduct of sensitization and awareness camps from 28th Nov 2022 to 2nd Dec.2022 in the township of Kishtwar.
The DC asked officers to complete all preparation well in time so that the ambitious programme My Town My Pride could be made a grand success in the town of district Kishtwar.He asked Executive Officers of MC Kishtwar to play a proactive role and ensure preparations before hand and work in tandem with other departments so that better results yield on ground.
He informed the senior officers that significant administrative officers shall visit the towns during the programme who will stay 2 days and one night in the Town on 5th & 6th December 2022, during which they listen to public grievances and try to resolve them on spot.
They shall also hold interactions with prominent citizens, frontline government functionaries, NGOs, social organizations, senior citizens and the general public.
The DC also said that the visiting officers would visit major projects of public importance; participate in exhibitions/ melas etc.
Among others SSP, Shafqat Hussain Batt; ADDC, Sham Lal; ADC (In-Charge), Inderjeet Singh Parihar; Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal, ACR Varunjeet Singh Charak; EO MC Kishtwar Tariq Balwan; DIO, Amit Kumar; ExEns and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
