DC Kishtwar reviews progress under PMAY, other RDD schemes

Kishtwar : The progress under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and other Rural Development schemes was today reviewed by Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma, here at a meeting.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch; Block Development officer, Paddar, Din Mohd Affaqi; BDO, Mughal Maidan Arun Kumar Badyal; BDO, Kishtwar, Sheetal Sharma; BDO, Nagseni, Abhay Indu Sharma; BDO Drabshalla Sobia Fatima Shad besides others.

The DC reviewed the block wise performance of the PMAY scheme and stressed on the timely completion of the ongoing works under the scheme. He exhorted all the BDOs to expedite the pace of work and focus on the geo-tagging and the timely release of funds in favour of the beneficiaries. Various bottlenecks in the implementation of the Geo-tagging were discussed in the meeting and slew of directions were passed by the DC.

Meanwhile, the DC informed that concerned BDC chairperson will unfurl the National Flag at the respective block headquarters on the eve of 72nd Republic day celebration 2021.
