DC Kupwara distributes sports material among youth of Mawar block

KUPWARA : To promote the spirit of sportsmanship among the youth of Kupwara district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today distributed different kinds of sports material among the youth of various panchayats of Mawar block, here in presence of DDC Member Mawar, Khurshid Ahmad.

On the occasion, the DC said that youth should engage themselves in different sports activities in addition to pursuing different academic goals. He said that the sports promote good health and mental well being of the youth which helps them to achieve their goals in different walks of life.

Meanwhile, the DC distributed some Cricket and Kabaddi mats among the youth in presence of various officers. He directed the concerned officers for distribution of different sports material among the youth of other areas also so as to promote the spirit of sportsmanship across the district.
