DC Kupwara visits Kralpora, inaugurates AYUSHMAN Hospital

Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Kralpora Tehsil of Kupwara district and held various activities during the visit.

The DC on the occasion inaugurated 10 bedded AYUSHMAN Hospital at Kralpora. DDC Member, Kralpora, Masrat Jan, ADMO, Nodal Officer Ayush and other concerned were present at the occasion.

Speaking at the occasion, the DC said that this is the fourth hospital that has been inaugurated in the district. Earlier AYUSMAN hospitals were functional at Kupwara, Handwara and Langate.

The DDC member and other public representatives, on the occasion projected various issues including space for Sumo stand at Kralpora. The DC directed concerned officers to resolve the issues of the public on priority. He also directed Tehsildar concerned to identify state land for Sumo stand.

The DC visited Sub District Hospital, Kralpora and inspected various units of the Hospital including Gynaecology and Covid-19 vaccination unit.

He also visited Higher Secondary School Kralpora and stressed the need for adhering to Covid-19 SOPs in letter and spirit. He directed for maintenance of social distance and cleanliness in the institute.

Later, the DC inspected Horticulture and Agriculture offices at Kralpora and directed concerned officers to provide seeds and other pesticides on time to the farmers so that they do not have to suffer.

He also stressed for maintaining proper cleanliness in all offices of the district and ensuring use of face masks and maintaining social distancing.
