DC listens to issues of Ramban Beopar Mandal Association
Ramban: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Wednesday listened to the issues of trading community and businessmen of the district.
President of Beopar Mandal, Ramban, Ved Bushan called on the DC and projected the demands. Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies & CA, Nasir Ahmad Bhat, was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, the President raised the issues related to initiating regular cleanliness drives in the marketplaces and streamlining the water tanker sprinkling. He also requested the District Administration to regularly clean wherever the drains are choked.
The Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies & CA, informed the President Beopar Mandal that it is mandatory for Shopkeepers to display revised rate lists of essentials prominently in front of their shops for the information of the consumers. He also sought the cooperation of the Beopar Mandal in carrying out regular market checking drives for ensuring strict adherence to rate lists of essential commodities.
The Deputy Commissioner, while seeking support of the Beopar Mandal, assured that the cleanliness drives in marketplaces in and around Ramban and Maitra towns shall be conducted by the MC on regular basis.
