DC Poonch inaugurates free Medical Camp at Surankote
Poonch: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today inaugurated one day free Medical Camp at Primary Health Centre Hari Mahrote (Panchayat Hari Lower Left) Surankote.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police, Vinod Kumar. The free medical camp was organised by G. R Beigh Memorial Trust in collaboration with CNI News and Hamara Samaj Newspaper.
During the camp, over 200 persons were screened and provided medicines for different ailments.
Chairman of G R Beigh memorial trust Ishtiyaq Beigh and Editor in chief CNI News Bilal Bazaz and Bureau Chief CNI Poonch, Sarpanch Sakander Nourani thanked all the officers of District administration, Sub District Administration and Police Administration for their cooperation.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner inspected Covid Care and other Health care facilities at PHC Mahrote. He directed Health staff to strictly follow necessary SOPs regarding COVID19 to counter the pandemic in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner also asked the concerned officer to make all the required facilities including 05 beds Covid Centre set up in the PHC with all facilities. He said the funds and oxygen concentrator would be provided by the District Administration and said that administration also.
