DC Poonch inspects progress of ongoing works

Poonch: Deputy commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today conducted a day-long tour to inspect the progress of ongoing development works. He also inspected the construction of the Oxygen Plant at Mandi.

During the visit, the DC inspected Chandak to Mandi PWD road and 4 KM Arai PMGSY road. He also inspected the COVID Care Centres established at Panchayat level.

The DC directed the concerned agencies to expedite the pace of work and to complete the projects in stipulated time.

Meanwhile, the DC also visited the Sub District Hospital Mandi where he inspected the ongoing work of the oxygen generation plant. He directed the executing agencies to complete work immediately. The DC said that it is a lifeline project keeping in view the COVID-19 scenario and it should be taken on priority basis for the safety and security of the patients.

Among others, Tehsildar mandi, BDC chairman, Executive engineer, Prof. Dr Shamim Banday also accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
