DC Poonch review progress of Jal Shakti projects

POONCH : District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today took a comprehensive review of the Jal Shakti sector projects here in a meeting of the concerned officers/ Executive Engineers.

The Deputy Commissioner sought a detailed report from the concerned Executive Engineers about the physical and financial status of the works being carried out in the district.

The DDC directed to adhere to the set timelines for completion and continuous monitoring for maintaining the quality of works and to meet the developmental aspirations of the general public. He asked the department to complete the works in snow bound areas before October 30, so that the public do not face any kind of difficulty. He further sought the list of contractors who have not started the work in a given time frame so that action is taken against them.
