DC Ramban conducts spot inspection of proposed land for GDC Batote

Ramban: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Isalm, today conducted a spot inspection of proposed land for the construction of Government Degree College Campus at Danga, village Tringla in Batote. He also listened to the issues and grievances of locals at Batote.

The Deputy Commissioner alongwith Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dhirender Sharma; DFO, Batote, Xen, PWD, Principal GDC, Batote, Tehsildar and various other concerned officers conducted spot verification of status of land and feasibility for the construction of the college campus building.

The DC held a detailed discussion on the issues with all stakeholders as per directions issued by the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu and directed Xen PWD to submit a detailed report on the possibility of connectivity of the location within prescribed time.

Meanwhile, the DC also interacted with the owners of the land who are willing to donate their proprietary land for the construction of GDC, Batote.

The DC also reviewed various local issues and action taken by the Forest Department for resolving the issues in public interest.

The DC also interacted with the public representatives and discussed various development issues including developing Batote area as a vibrant tourist destination to help generate more job opportunities for the local people.

BDC Chairperson, Rajeshwar Kumar, President Municipal Committee, Batote, S. Ravinder Singh, DDC, Councilor, Jagbir Dass and several prominent citizens also met with the DC.
