DC Ramban directs Health Department to expedite registration under AB-PMJAY-SEHAT
RAMBAN : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today chaired a meeting of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-SEHAT Scheme (AB-PMJAY-SEHAT) to review the progress of registration of beneficiaries and generation of Golden Cards in the district.
The DC also reviewed the progress on Covid vaccination of the targeted people under different categories and age groups. He directed the officers to submit progress report of both programmes on daily basis
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Fareed Bhat, Dy. CMO Dr. Iqbal Bhat, Medical Superintendent DH Ramban, District Coordinators for registration Ayusman Bharat attended the meeting in the DC office whereas DPO, BMOs and various concerned officers attended the meeting through virtual mode.
The meeting also discussed in detail the modalities for speeding up the registration for SEHAT scheme.
Earlier CMO and BMOs apprised the DC regarding the status and achievements made with regard to implementation of AB-PMJAY-SEHAT in medical blocks and DH Ramban.
The DC further directed the officers to sensitize the people about benefits of SEHAT Golden Card in all medical blocks to encourage maximum people for registration. He also stressed that timely submission of claims and reply to queries should be done for ease of beneficiaries.
J&K exclusive, AB PM-JAY SEHAT Scheme provides Universal Health Insurance Coverage of Rs. 5.00 lakh per family on a floater basis in convergence with central government’s Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY).
