DC Ramban inspects different areas, reviews implementation of Covid SOPs

Ramban: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, today visited different areas in Ramban town to review implementation of Covid-19 restrictions and SoPs.

Dy. SP, Rajinder Singh Chib, Tehsildar, Rafiq Ahmed and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.

The DC visited Bus stand and main market Ramban and interacted with representatives of different traders and transport unions to discuss the prevailing situation with them.

During the visit, the DC reviewed the enforcement of orders issued by the District Disaster Management Authority, Ramban for opening of 50% shops in Municipal/ Urban Local Bodies limits on alternate basis and plying of passenger vehicles at 50% of authorized seating capacity.

The DC directed transporters and traders to be adhere to the Covid protocols and take covid-19 vaccination doses to protect themselves from infection.

The DC also met with the religious leaders and urged them to implement the guidelines and preventative measures issued by the Authorities to contain the spread of deadly cornavirus.

Meanwhile, the enforcement teams also realized fine from people for violating orders like roaming without face masks and not maintaining social distance. They impressed upon people to wear masks, wash hands, maintain social distance, take vaccine doses and stay indoors.
